Game Management System

As part of registering with Rossendale RUFC, all players must also be registered with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) through their Game Management System (GMS).

GMS is the RFU’s central platform for managing player registrations, club affiliations, and safeguarding information. Creating an account ensures your child is properly registered to play and helps us maintain accurate records for the club.

We kindly ask all parents and volunteers to create a GMS account on the RFU website (there is no app) for themselves and their child(ren).

New GMS Registrations – How to Register with Rossendale RUFC

What You Need to Do

  • As the adult responsible for your child, create a GMS account for yourself (if you don’t already have one).
  • Add your child to your account.
  • Register your child to play for our club – Rossendale RUFC.
  • Upload a head-and-shoulders photo of your child to their profile. This is important for match days, as opposing teams may check player identities and age groups.
  • Make a note of your child’s GMS ID, which you’ll need for club registration (you will be asked for this in Spond). You may also be asked for your own GMS ID should you require DBS checks (if volunteering).

Need Help?

If you have any questions or run into any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Sometimes it can be easier to use GMS on a desktop or laptop computer rather than a mobile device. If you need assistance, please contact the club administrator and we will be happy to help you through the process.
